Bystander Blog
This is where we will be posting your stories of being an Active Bystander in your community. Being an Active Bystander is about seeing something and doing something. It is about realizing that the safety of our community, friends and family is our responsibility. It is about getting involved. If you have been through one of our Primary Prevention or Active Bystander trainings we want to hear about how you have been using your skills. We want to hear the Good, the Bad, and your Missed Encounters. Tell us about how you intervened and if things went Good (the situation was stopped or deescalated), or went Bad (the situation wasn’t what you thought, intervention did not work), and of course we need to hear about your Missed Encounters (those moments you wish you would’ve done something but didn’t). Send your stories to Daniel at Education@centerforhopehealing.org and look back to see if your tale gets posted here:
